10 miles - I've cracked it!

Tuesday 16 April 2013 - I went out for a run thinking I would go about 4 or 5 miles as I wasn't feeling that enthusiastic but I actually managed 10 miles. It felt great! Not sure I will be able to walk in the morning but hey that will be another day.
The weather was good the sun was out and there was a breeze which was nice but the hills, I really hate hills, I just find them so hard and I know the course we will be running for the marathon will have hills in it so we need to practice but they do not get any easier. The whole run wasn't easy, by any means, the last mile and a half were really tough going but I managed 10 miles in 2 hours 10 minutes so another 3 miles should be ok (even if I have to crawl). Incidentally I got through 1113 calories that should help the scales next week at fat club.

Dan went out on his bike yesterday and did 23 miles, not bad at all I was impressed. He went running today as well and managed 4 miles I think well done Dan keep up the good work.

Joanne hasn't been out for a while but has found a running partner nearer where she lives so hopefully they will soon be going out training.
