Running along the canal

Tuesday 2 July 2013 - Today I was going to go for a run this morning but I wasn't feeling on top form so decided against it. The weather was quite good for a run not to warm, a little cool for the time of year to be honest, and not wet so mid afternoon Joanne and I decided to go out for a run. We went just under 3 miles and chose a different route to normal which was nice as there was a lot of traffic and we normally run a quarter of the route along a busy main road. This time we chose to go along the canal first, there was not much wild life to see today, just a few cows making their presents known in a field opposite as we were running and Joanne saw a rabbit. We did over take a canal boat which I always enjoy doing (yes it was going in the same direction as we were). We did encounter hills and they are still hard work but coming down was good. We did cut some of the route off and went along a field on a public footpath for a change. On this path you can see the back of the houses near by and someone has built a summerhouse which looks like Hagrid's house out of Harry Potter films it looked really good.
