Early morning run
Wednesday 1 May 2013 – Today was going to be a busy day so I decided to go out for an early run rather than risk no run at all so at 7.30am I was up and out running. I am not really a morning person but it was a lovely morning with the sun shining and the birds singing so not a bad time to go for a run. I ran 4 miles in a very quick time for me 10 minute mileing and even managed to run up most of the hills which , for me, was very good.
A note for anyone who is starting out running and struggling, don’t give up, it will get easier. Look at your outings in sections for example; a beginning, middle and end. I know that the first 3 miles for me is very difficult so if I am going on a short run it may not be a very good one. The middle means I have survived the start of the run and the end is when I get my “fell good factor” and home for a well deserved rest and cuppa (or wine).
